Video Levels and Differences
All the beginning videos teach the same fundamental dance techniques. Each video covers different patterns, so you can watch several videos at a time, and learn new things. Many people buy multiple videos to reinforce the learning process. Intermediate videos teach different material/patterns.... So, for example, if you bought a beginning salsa video, you can also get other beginning DVDs, as well as intermediate DVDs, and have an even greater learning experience.
In the videos, you'll be focusing on beginner dance steps. Now is the time to learn! Don't wait and don't put it off. These videos caters to beginners and makes the learning process fun and simple. You will "get it" as will everyone else, and yes, this will change your life!
Partners (Not Necessarily Required)
It helps to have a partner! If you can't find anyone, try your best to practice along and get all the footwork... otherwise try to ask some of you friends to dance, meet people on craigslist, or go out to the clubs and classes to gain more experience.
Three big tips for a Beginner dancer trying to learn the fastest way possible.
First, count out loud! Just like in the video - take every opportunity to count and grasp the rhythm. Second, perhaps find a partner to practice with them (outside of video, you can practice with someone). Third - did I mention practice? The fastest way to learn is to take the SalsaCrazy Boot Camp approach. This method combines watching the videos, multiple days of classes each week, with private lessons, and outings to the actual dance clubs!
